| City of Derby B Grade Open, Sat 5 July 2008 |

Everyone is encouraged to enter this B Grade Open Gala to be held at Queens Leisure centre, Derby, on Saturday 5 July 2008.
You'll find full gala details available here with a copy also on the noticeboard.
You can either go ahead and send in your entries direct (but let us know if you do) or sign up your entries on the list on the noticeboard by June 3rd at the latest (fees to be paid by same date).
Just take care of the "Qualifying Times" (must have been achieved) and also the "No Faster Than" times listed in the gala details.

**Update 24 Apr**
More great results yesterday and today.
Mike finished 8th in 100m backstroke with Chris 24th in the same event. Then today, Mike came a fantastic 6th in the 50m back with Chris in 26th place.
Great swimming guys!

Well done to the trio of Masters swimmers for their excellent results in Oz.
Mike has finished 8th in 50m fly and 9th in Freestyle. Jim earned a 21st place in 50m fly and 25th place in 200 IM, Chris managed 20th in 800m free and 58th in 50m fly. Check out the new photos on the link below.

Chris Weeds, Mike Brett and James Corbett are currently flying the flag for Belper Marlins "Down Under" at the World Masters Swimming Championships. You can follow their progress on their photo site and also you can check the programme on the FINA Masters website, where you'll now find the results pages are shown underneath the start lists.
Anyhow I am sure we all join in wishing them every success.

| Retford Open Meet, Ponds Forge, 22 June 2008 |

Retford Open Gala will be held on Sunday 22 June at Ponds Forge in Sheffield. We normally support this gala strongly as a club however this year the date clashes with Round 3 of the Diddy League so that anyone interested in entering this gala should please do so under their own steam. You can access full details and the entry pack at Retford Swimming Club Website.
Closing date for entries is 18 May.
Please do not enter this gala however if your services are required for the Diddy League, please check with the Chief Coach to be sure.
